Us
The South Burnett Local
Government Association is the umbrella organisation of the seven local government
authorities of the South Burnett region of Queensland, Australia.
It's made up of representatives
from the councils of
Nanango,
Rosalie,
Kingaroy,
Wondai,
Murgon, Cherbourg and
Kilkivan. Through the
SBLGA, all seven councils work together to promote development, investment
and employment opportunities for the benefit of all our region's residents.

the promotion of industrial, agricultural, tourism, technology and environmental

to existing regional businesses.

Enhance access to government
services in the region.

Identify the economic and
social needs of our residents and make them known to the Commonwealth and
State Governments.

and submission of requests for assistance from Commonwealth and State
Governments.

joint venturing between member Councils on projects of mutual benefit and/or
to further joint interests.

Concentrate available resources
on seeking solutions to mutual problems and achieve savings in resources
that can be gained through co-operative effort.
